Stow House was originally a vicarage and had been converted into a B&B 35 years ago. It hadn’t been renovated since then and was dated internally. We received a brief from the customer to strip out the property fully and renovate it from a 12 bedroom B&B to a 7 bedroom boutique B&B. The building would include spacious en-suite bathrooms. The property had a new roof added, along with new sash windows, new plastering and oak flooring throughout. We also installed new bathrooms with cast iron roll top baths fitted in the bedrooms under the windows. Work also included a full rewire, new heating system, traditional cast iron radiators and a full redecoration.
After we transformed this structure, Stow House has been able to flourish and was recently voted one of the top boutique B&B’s in the UK.
